Driving Directions

Take Exit 10 off I-68.  From I-68E, turn left at the end of the off ramp.  From I-68W, turn right at the end of the off ramp.  At the light, turn left onto Cheat Road.  Drive approximately 1/2 mile.  A large billboard sign that reads “Lakeview” will be on your left.  Turn left onto Lakeview Drive – the road directly before the sign.  Continue up the road until you come to the hotel.  The address is One Lakeview Drive, Morgantown, WV 26508.

Room Reservations:

Room reservations can be made by calling Lakeview Resort, 1-800-624-8300. We have a Block of Rooms reserved under the “Burchmore/Bond” Wedding. The block pricing is $129 per night.  To receive the block pricing, reservations must be made NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 10, 2009.

There are many other hotels in the area, such as Holiday Inn Express, which have slightly lower rates. Just keep in mind that everything will be taking place at the Lakeview Resort so it will be much more convenient to stay there.

Dress

The dress code for both our rehearsal and our wedding I am going to call “Respectable.”  What does that mean?  Well, basically anything in which you feel comfortable and in which you would not be ashamed to walk around in public.  Jeans are perfectly acceptable, but no holes please.  On the other hand, if you want to get all dolled up, that is fine too.  Mike, the groom, will be wearing black slacks, black boots, and a black t-shirt.  It will not be a button up shirt.  The groomsmen will be wearing red t-shirts and black slacks.

I will be wearing a simple white wedding dress with a red sash.  Libby, the maid of honor, will be wearing this:

Bottom line: we intend to be comfortable and want you to be also.
